Do you have confidence in the protection of the Lord or do you live in exhausting fear of what might happen tomorrow?
Discuss the story of Exodus 14. Can you relate to the Israelites who could not fathom how God would deliver them in v. 10-12? How did God save his people in this story? How is this similar to how God saves us?
The Old Testament is full of stories like the one we read in Exodus 14; stories of God's protection and deliverance. It is good for us to remember these stories. What has the Lord brought you though? How has he delivered you?
Pray through Psalm 94:16-19

Where do you find your daily joy? Does it come from the knowledge of what is yours in Jesus; of what God has done and is continually doing for you?
When you think about the way you live your day to day life, do you celebrate what God has done and is doing? How can you and your family regularly celebrate these things?
